Zoning Inspector Jahn gave his permit report.  There were several permits issued for Accessory Buildings, Homes, Fences, and Pools.

It was brought up about the Rezoning and lot split on Thrailkill Road for Jeremy Francis.  He has until November 16, 2023 to come in with his application.  The Board of Zoning Appeals met with him on May 16, 2023 and gave him 6 months to comply with the conditions that they gave him that needed to be completed by November 16, 2023.  The Health Department okayed the lot.  If approved the new 2 acre lot would be conforming and there is room for the septic system.  It would make the other lot a nonconforming lot.

Roese wondered about the McKnight property, and that if it is going to be a party venue.

Zoning Inspector Jahn said that he had 4-5 nuisance properties to take to the Prosecutors Office.  One on Matville and 3 or 4 in Orient.

Hamilton mentioned about a property on Borror Road where the weeds are so high that you cannot see the vehicles parked there.

There was a discussion about a possible housing development on the corner of Graham and Commercial Point Road.

A discussion about if you change Ag lots to 10 acres then you would have to change Estate Lots 5-10.  If you change one kind of Lot then you would have to change rest of them.

In April the State Legislature changed Solar less than 50 kilowatts has to meet the Township regulations.  You should adopt language to your codes.

There have been 25 calls about a lot on 316 west of 104 where the house burnt down, but the garage was separate and did not burn and there are people who want to build a house onto the garage.

A lot on the corner of Gibson and 316 (5.7 acre)  Wants to buy house and split lots.  It meets requirements.  Change from Ag to R1

10499 Borror Road needs to get appraised for current zoning.

Old Business:  Any changes that are done to the book should go to legal to make sure that the wording gets done right.  Jahn says that Tony from the Prosecutors office or Griggs should come to a Special Meeting to make sure it is written all right.

Zoning Commission agreed to next meeting on either November 14 or 21, 2023 and possibly have 2 meetings

Scott made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Younkin seconded it.  Vote: All Yes
